About Selma
My name is Selma and I am a 19-year-old music enthusiast. I have just finished my STX at Aarhus Katedralskole, where I studied music. In addition, I have been playing classical guitar since I was 7 years old. For the past 1.5 years I have been teaching guitar, which I love, which is why I am looking for some more students who would like to learn to play guitar. Besides my great interest in music, I am very interested in horses and ride and look after my horse 4 times a week. In addition, I have thrown myself into other small hobbies such as e.g. knitting, which I think is super fun and which I also get a lot of time to do.

In my teaching, I emphasize good communication between teacher and student, which means that I often talk to my student about what kind of teaching they get the most out of, as well as what they would like to learn. The student can come up with requests for specific pieces they would like to learn, or they can aim in a more general direction towards a genre, and then I find material. The lessons usually last approx. 30 minutes and, if possible, takes place at the student's home. At present, I am teaching a student in 8th grade, whom I have taught for approx. 1.5 years, so I am used to teaching children/young people and am always very engaged when I teach.
