Tom is an amazing teacher. Aside from being a great player Tom genuinely cares about his students and knows how to communicate in the right way to get the best out of them. He’s the tutor that I wish I had when I was younger.

Tom took me on as a 69year old absolute beginner. After a few lessons it became obvious that I was having trouble with fretwork due to some arthritis in my fingers. Tom did everything he could to find alternative and easier ways for me to form chords. When progress was slow due to my arthritis and I became a bit despondent, Tom was always sympathetic and encouraging in reminding me what I could play before my lessons……..absolutely nothing. I will never be a lead guitarist but I can strum a few, well quite a few, chords and that is due to Tom’s excellent tutoring. He is also a very nice person to talk to. Thank you Tom

Hello everyone, I've been having Tom's guitar tuition since April this year 2024 one hour a week and plenty of homework practice, I always fancied learning to play and now retired why not I can now change chords in time and at decent bpm according to Tom and we're now working on certain songs of an agreed choice suitable to my abilities, I find Tom to be patient and easy going extremely knowledgeable on all things regarding guitars and music, he also makes a decent cup of tea, I really look forward to my lessons and will say that if you're thinking of getting started in learning the guitar why not have a chat with him and see if it's for you
