About Colette
"Holding a Master of Music in Music Performance from Queensland Conservatorium provides the rigorous technical foundation I apply to every student. The smell of rosin and the tension of fresh guitar strings define my workspace as I guide learners through acoustic technique and intricate barre chords. Teaching for 8 years means I have seen every struggle from beginners to grade exam candidates.
My approach leans heavily into music theory, ear training, and reading tabs to ensure you understand the instrument. I also integrate power chords and strumming patterns to bridge the gap between technical exercises and actual performance pieces."
