About Claude

Hi everyone, my name is Claudiu, but you can call me Claude. I was born in Romania, but I’ve been living in the UK for the past 21 years, eventually becoming a British citizen. I am half Turkish and half Ukrainian, but my childhood and early education were rooted in Romania. I am fluent in both Romanian and British English. Academically, my background is in social sciences, particularly Sociology, but my expertise also extends to Political Science, Economics, and Philosophy. I earned my first Bachelor's degree from the University of Iași in Romania, followed by a Master’s degree focusing on community development. Later, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and finally, I returned to my true passion—Sociology—by completing a Master of Arts degree at the University of Birmingham.

About the lesson

My Teaching Philosophy Sociology is not just about theories and textbooks—it’s about understanding the world around us and developing critical thinking skills that will help you analyse society, culture, and human interactions. Critical Thinking & Analysis – Sociology is about asking "Why?" and "How?" I’ll help you develop a questioning mindset, enabling you to think independently and critically.
