"After 13 years spent performing and teaching guitar, I have worked with a wide range of students. I have taught 402 people to find their sound while building a solid foundation.
My background at the University of Canterbury helps me explain complex theory simply. I combine fundamentals with pieces you actually want to play to ensure your practice remains purposeful. My approach covers everything from power chords and music theory to ear training, reading sheet music, and advanced soloing.
I also handle grade exam prep for those who need it. You will walk away with total confidence in your playing."

"Your first guitar session will not involve boring drills or endless repetition. I prefer starting with a piece you love to see how you naturally handle the fretboard. We focus on chord transitions, scales, and modes immediately to build your technical range. My 13 years of experience means I can spot bad habits before they take root.
Having taught 402 students, I know how to make music theory feel practical rather than academic. I provide a monthly recorded review of your progress so you can track how far you have come. I hold a Diploma from the University of Canterbury which guides my teaching style. We refine your improvisation and soloing skills through direct, hands-on feedback during every single meeting."
