About Andrea Lena
I’m a single Mum to a 13yo boy and currently work in school hours, with fixed clients of more than 10 years each.
If you are wanting a regular visit or a one off cooking lesson, I will come to your house and either teach you or cook the dish/es you have chosen to learn.
I will fit you in where I can, and often my clients travel, so I have more downtime to fill, and therefore I can help more people to learn to cook!
I charge a travel fee, and if you want me to buy the ingredients, then that’s charged out for time spent, plus reimbursement for food, or I’m happy for you to get the ingredients in prior to my arrival and a discussion with you via email.
I’ve worked in many hotels in all the different sections, but my favourite was desert/pastry section.
The last many years I have been self-employed so I get to cook all kinds of things with no limit or restriction in what I’m able!
I cook a wide variety of cuisines, depending on what someone is wanting, and it is ever-changing!
It may be gluten-free, or sugar-free, or fat-free, or vegetarian, a meat-fest, a risotto, or an elaborate dessert!
I just adapt to whatever is required on the day, and for my fixed regular clients, I may turn up and just have to make something with whatever is in the fridge, no problem for me at all to improvise!
