About Phyllis
University students and career switchers often struggle with the gap between classroom theory and real financial data. I admit that I spent my early years strictly following models until I realized that intuition is just as important as the numbers.
With an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth, I guide you through CFA foundations and ratio analysis with ease. I have taught 85 students how to master portfolio theory and corporate finance in complex environments. My approach integrates bonds and equities alongside financial statement analysis to ensure you grasp the full picture. I find that using Excel for finance and DCF valuation makes these concepts stick much better.
