About Agnes
Training in the Russian tradition shaped my perspective on violin pedagogy and provided a strong technical foundation during my BMus studies at Rice University Shepherd School of Music. Through 13 years of teaching, I have cultivated a methodical style that emphasizes building technique slowly and correctly so that it lasts a lifetime for amateur players. My lessons incorporate double stops, grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity, and focused ear training to sharpen your musical instincts. I find true satisfaction in helping students refine their spiccato and staccato bowing, tone production, and shifting positions while integrating music theory into our weekly discussions.
