I’ve had the absolute pleasure of learning from Liz for the past nine months, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is not only an incredibly skilled artist but also a truly WONDERFUL teacher. From the very beginning, she has been understanding of my busy work schedule and has always made learning feel approachable and rewarding.

I first met Liz when I moved into my new apartment building and noticed her colorful paintings in her front window with a sign offering commissions and lessons, both of which I have partaken in.
As Liz's student, I have learned a whole lot more about drawing than I ever thought I could. I had only ever had a handful of art classes in school as a kid and although I was told I was talented, I never felt particularly motivated to pursue anything further. Liz not only helped reshape my understanding of the word "talent" but reshaped how I view drawing in general and helped get me started on the fine arts path. I relearned most things starting with sharpening pencils and properly setting up my easel, to line work, shading, and drawing from a 3D model. She is very patient and encouraging as well as having a lot of in-depth knowledge to the art world.
Liz has helped me greatly improve my drawing skills to the point where I have some beautiful drawings proudly displayed on my walls. I look forward to continuing and finishing up my drawing course with her and am considering signing-up for her painting course in the future as well.
