About Adam

"We are the music-makers, we are the dreamers of dreams," said the whimsical Willy Wonka, and such wisdom defined a great part of my career. For over 10 years I have worked in the realm of kiddom, from collegiate mentor to nature guide to Mr. Adam with Sammy the Saxophone, I have honed my skills with all ages and ultimately it has led to a place of stillness. In the world of men I have spent the last 7 years, discovering who I am as a leader through organizations such as the Mankind Project, solo journeys into the heart of the wild to listen to God, and surrendering myself to a spiritual path where the gifts of meditation reveal themselves more deeply daily. While I have credentials, and have done the training, to me it is more about consistency, presence, and devotion. My personal meditation practice is sincere, and it has manifested in a vocation based around gathering us together in circles and remembering who we are. Yes, I'm blessed. I hope you'll be a part of that blessing.

About the lesson

Mindfulness and meditation must be fun, otherwise we wouldn't do it!

As a musician, yogi, educator, and nature-lover, I bring a vast array of tools into the meditation room (normally the forest, for rest of course :)). When you're not thinking about how hard something might be, and you're tapping into the child-like imagination of the process, it goes by with ease.

The process is this:

(1) Create sacred space - an invocation or prayer
(2) Heart-Opening - visualization and imagination mixed with somatic touch and breath
(3) Primal Movement -open your body, tap into your inner wildness and release energy
(4) Meditation - energy moved and heart open, embrace the stillness and silence within your mind and relax

I have known Adam for many years. I have enjoyed his art as a highly skilled musician, as a performer and as part of his meditation teaching. It is a HIGH EXPERIENCE!
However, I also am blessed to have had the experience of him as an spiritual guide, under the meditation umbrella. Both as classes only, and long term workshops.
What I LOVE in Adam's classes is his genuine contact with his soul. And when he teaches, consistently he enters his SACRED SPACE, and sends out s profound message and energy.
He teaches from the place he touches his own soul. It is sublime!
