I have a BA (Hons) in English Literature and have recently finished teaching in a Secondary school as a higher level teacher assistant, planning lessons, creating lessons for year 7s-11s, so I have knowledge of the curriculum and it’s requirements. A majority of my students required more help, patience and attention to their needs as they struggled in their subjects so I am very adaptable and know how to work around student’s needs.
I enjoy teaching and seeing growth in my students, it brings me a lot of joy! I strive to build a strong student-teacher relationship where they can confide in me about their needs and struggles. I take pride in my ability to build a student’s character of self-belief, confidence and determination through my teaching as I believe these skills are just as important as their academic studies.
