About Katherine
Singing is often just a battle against one's own nerves, and I admit that I still feel those jitters before I hit the stage. We address stage fear management immediately by creating a space where errors are just part of the process. I focus on rhythm and phrasing, ensuring that your sight singing improves through repetition and gentle correction. My teaching style is loose but underpinned by 7 years of real-world experience in the industry.
We work on your range while keeping the emotion of the chanson tradition at the center of our practice. It makes the hard work feel like a creative release.

Having 13 years of stage experience as a self taught Québécois performer informs how I approach every vocal student who walks through my door. I have spent my career navigating the chanson circuit, which means I understand exactly what it takes to stand in front of an audience without crumbling.
My degree is rooted in the tradition of Vigneault and Charlebois, emphasizing diction and articulation as the primary tools for any singer. I have coached many students on how to extend their range and master belting technique through consistent, disciplined practice. It feels quite rewarding to watch someone find their voice after months of doubt.
