About Robert
My Physics teaching career spans over 3 decades, Many of my students have gone on to highly successful careers and have garnered many academic awards and professional honors . I also oversaw the science research program from which two students went on to become Rhodes Scholars.
In addition to Physics, I also teach Astronomy and host an Astronomy News Show for the Astronomy Association.. At 78, I have no intention of retiring. I am having too much fun teaching and tutoring.

Tutoring is focused on helping students develop the confidence that they can master what is often the most challenging academic course they face. Most of the time, students understand the concepts, but are frustrated by an inability to solve problems. Thus, instruction concentrates on guiding students to develop successful problem solving strategies. The techniques can vary, depending on the student' abilities. These range from straight forward paper and pencil exercises towards engaging in well developed computer simulations.
Consequently, my students' grades improve significantly.
