My Teaching Methodology
I employ a Socratic-Scaffolding technique. Instead of simply handing over the final answer, I ask targeted questions that lead you to the solution. This ensures you aren't just memorizing a process, but building the "mental muscle" to solve similar problems independently.

Active Recall: We don’t just read; we test. I’ll frequently ask you to summarize a concept in your own words to identify any "blind spots."

Contextual Learning: I take abstract theories and ground them in real-world scenarios or analogies that fit your specific interests.

The "Feedback Loop": Errors are treated as data points. If you get something wrong, we deconstruct why to prevent the same mistake in the future.

A Typical Lesson Plan
A standard 60-minute session is structured for maximum retention:

The Pulse Check (5 mins): A quick review of the previous session’s "stumble points" to ensure the foundation is solid.

The Deep Dive (20 mins): Introduction of the new concept using visual breakdowns or step-by-step logic.

Collaborative Build (20 mins): We tackle a complex problem together. I start with 80% of the heavy lifting and gradually shift the work to you.

The Solo Flight (10 mins): You tackle a final task entirely on your own while I observe.

The Recap (5 mins): We distill the lesson into three "key takeaways" to keep in your back pocket.

What Sets Me Apart
Most tutors teach the subject; I teach the learner.

Patience & Wit: I keep the energy light. Learning can be frustrating, so I use a touch of humor to break the tension when a concept gets particularly "crunchy."

Extreme Personalization: I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all curriculum. If you learn better through storytelling than through spreadsheets, that is how we will work.

Non-Linear Troubleshooting: If "Plan A" doesn't click, I have "Plans B through Z" ready to go to explain the same concept from a different angle.

Who These Lessons Are For
I specialize in supporting students at the university and professional level, specifically those navigating:

Undergraduate Degrees: Focusing on Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business.

Advanced Writing & Thesis Prep: Helping students structure complex arguments and maintain academic rigor.

Skill Transitioners: Professionals looking to pivot careers who need to master new technical or conceptual frameworks quickly.
