My students have achieved awards at all levels. From the top chairs in beginner classes to the prestigious Texas All-State band. A typical lesson includes fundamentals, preparing solos to solidify those fundamentals and listening to great players. My rate of keeping students through graduation is around 98%

I focus my lessons on teaching the student how to practice. I use fundamentals in various pieces as much as possible to keep the "drudgery" of exercises to a minimum. I have successfully taught students of every level and ability.

Details
My initial rate is $25 for a 40 minute lesson. I normally don't teach hour lessons. ..40 minutes, I have found , is an optimum time for a lesson.
I have never charged a student for missing a lesson when that the student has let me know they were going to miss.
