About Jennifer
I have a Bachelors Degree in Japanese from ASU where I studied Japanese literature and translation. I took special Japanese languages courses such as Japanese Pedagogy, Classical Japanese and Creative writing from Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. I taught English in Japanese Middle and Elementary schools for two years and I taught myself Japanese in High school enough to test out of the first two years during college.

My teaching method varies on the needs of my students. For tests or academic purposes I use repetition and practical review. For more casual students I might use more real life situations (newspapers or manga) and videos to teach language used in conversation.
