About Cora
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 13 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Music Performance. I have helped children, teenagers, and adults of all skill levels develop strong piano techniques, musical understanding, and performance confidence through patient, supportive, and personalised instruction.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a motivating and welcoming environment where every student feels encouraged to learn and grow. I adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles, ensuring lessons remain engaging, productive, and enjoyable while helping students achieve their individual musical aspirations.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy composing original music, attending piano recitals, exploring diverse musical genres, and studying the works of renowned composers. These experiences inspire my teaching and allow me to bring creativity, fresh perspectives, and real-world musical knowledge into every lesson.

My piano lessons are carefully structured to meet each student's individual goals, learning pace, and musical interests. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced pianist, I create enjoyable and organised lessons that build confidence while developing strong technical skills and expressive musical performance.
Lessons cover essential piano techniques, music reading, rhythm, finger coordination, hand positioning, scales, chords, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills. I incorporate a variety of musical styles, including classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary pieces, ensuring students enjoy a well-rounded and inspiring learning experience.
I believe consistent practice and positive encouragement are the keys to musical growth. Every lesson includes practical exercises, personalised feedback, and achievable goals that help students improve steadily while developing creativity, musical expression, and a lifelong appreciation for playing the piano with confidence.
