About Scarlett
Graduating with a BMus from the Royal College of Music, I admit that I spent my early years strictly focused on orchestral work before falling in love with the guitar. I bring 13 years of experience to my teaching, having personally guided 465 students through their own musical journeys. My lessons focus on strumming patterns, rhythm guitar, scales, modes, electric technique, and lead guitar. I cater to working professionals, returning learners, grade exam candidates, and intermediate players who want to sharpen their skills.
My structured approach relies on a diagnostic skills check to build your lesson plan. This ensures we address your weaknesses and strengths from day 1. I am confident that my technical background will provide the foundation you need to succeed.

Struggling to transition between complex chords during a fast rhythm section often stops progress in its tracks. During our diagnostic skills check, we identify exactly where your technique breaks down so we can fix it quickly. My lessons for working professionals and intermediate learners utilise my BMus from the Royal College of Music to ensure high standards.
We dive into electric technique and lead guitar work with a structured, funny, and expressive style. I provide clear feedback on your scales and modes to help you internalise the fretboard logic. We keep the momentum going through consistent practice and clear technical goals for every session.
