About MarryHub
Music exists as a balance between rigid technique and raw imagination, which is why I prioritize your creative voice over technical clutter. You are likely an independent artist or singer-songwriter looking to translate those elusive ideas into finished tracks that actually sound professional. Having earned my BMus Composition from the University of Auckland, I understand how to bridge the gap between abstract theory and the concrete reality of a beat.
My 3 years of coaching students has taught me that the best music comes when you stop fighting your tools and start using them. I spend my time helping others master the complexities of drum programming and synthesis so the technology disappears behind the art.
Whether we are layering textures or cleaning up your mixing fundamentals, the focus remains entirely on your specific growth as a creator. I have spent those same 3 years releasing my own material, which keeps me honest about what works inside a real project. Technique should serve the idea, never the other way around. My teaching method ensures you build steady progress on the tracks you care about most.

Focusing on the music you are currently writing is the most efficient way to turn beginners into capable producers. Real songs get finished.
We work in your own DAW to ensure the skills stick. It helps to have someone guide you through the muddy parts of tempo, groove, and reference mixing without making you feel overwhelmed by the process. You will leave our time together with a clearer sense of how to shape your sound design and sampling workflow. Just bring your project file and a willingness to try something different whenever you are ready to start.
