About Daphne
"Music occupies every waking hour of my life since early childhood. I am a graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. This discipline defines my approach to teaching.
I emphasize ear training, pop and contemporary styles, and solid accompaniment skills. My pedagogy relies on rigorous memorization techniques, dynamics and expression, and precise pedaling technique. Students also master scales and arpeggios, classical repertoire, sight playing, and complex chord voicing. Do you want to reach that level of technical fluidity?"
