About Gia
I have over 8 years of experience teaching Physics, supported by my BSc in Physics with Philosophy. My main focus is helping middle school students build their first understanding of forces and motion. I know these concepts can feel abstract at first, so I use simple experiments to make them come alive. Everyday examples like riding a bike, throwing a ball, or going on a rollercoaster make lessons exciting and relatable. I believe that connecting physics to real-world activities sparks curiosity in young learners. My teaching style is supportive and patient, ensuring no one feels left behind. I also use problem-solving scenarios that challenge students to think critically. These activities help them apply theory in practical ways. Many students who start off nervous about physics grow in confidence with steady guidance. I encourage exploration and welcome all kinds of questions. Lessons are interactive and designed to match different learning styles. Over time, students realize that physics is less about memorizing and more about discovery. My goal is to make physics enjoyable, approachable, and rewarding for every learner. Together, we’ll explore physics as a fun and practical subject.

My Physics teaching approach is rooted in curiosity and practical exploration. I believe students learn deeply when they design their own experiments. Lessons focus on experimental design that is clear and purposeful. Data analysis is introduced step by step so students build confidence. Error propagation is explained in a gentle way, showing that uncertainty is part of every investigation. Scientific reporting is taught to help students share their work clearly. I enjoy guiding DIY Scientists and Curiosity-Driven Learners as they shape their style of learning. Each student is supported in finding confidence in experimentation. My sessions balance practice with reflection so that concepts connect to real life. Mistakes are seen as helpful tools for improvement. Over time, students gain independence in how they approach science. They begin to see physics as a process rather than just answers. Together, we discover how inquiry can build both skill and curiosity.
