About Gary
"Playing guitar for 13 years has taught me how to keep practice purposeful. I spent many mornings in the studio refining my own technique before I started teaching. I focus on tuning and maintenance to keep instruments ready.
We work on chord transitions and fingerpicking until they feel natural. Writing songs and reading tabs are essential parts of my routine. I also cover blues progressions and reading sheet music for a complete education. Building lessons around what motivates you is my primary goal."

"Your first guitar session begins with a clear plan for your success. 9 specific techniques define how we build your foundation.
I emphasize solid mechanics from the very start. We spend time on rhythm and tone production during these sessions. My Master of Music background ensures you learn correctly. 13 years of teaching means I know how to overcome common hurdles.
