About Declan
I am a passionate guitar teacher with over 11 years of experience guiding students of all levels. Holding a Diploma of Music with a Guitar Specialization, I have helped learners prepare for live performances, recording sessions, auditions, and music school entry. My teaching style is encouraging and focused, balancing discipline with creative freedom.
I emphasize stage presence and performance confidence, helping students feel comfortable and expressive in front of an audience. Technique and theory are important, but I also encourage individuality, allowing each student to develop their unique musical voice. I work closely with learners to refine their tone, timing, and expression, ensuring they achieve musical excellence. In lessons, I combine structured practice with imaginative exploration.
