I’m a guitar tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, majoring in guitar. Music has always been my passion, especially composing and arranging for solo guitar and ensembles. I love helping students bring their own musical ideas to life. My teaching style is supportive and engaging, focusing on clear goals that suit each student’s needs. I work with school students, hobbyists, and professionals, tailoring lessons to fit their level and ambitions. My expertise includes scales, modes, songwriting, rhythm training, and stage performance. I believe mastering these skills builds confidence and creativity. Over the years, I’ve helped students progress from intermediate to advanced levels. I also prepare students for professional work, ensuring they’re ready for real-world challenges. My teaching approach focuses on helping each student discover their unique voice on the guitar. I start by building strong basics in fingerstyle playing, ensuring smooth finger movement and control. From there, I guide students through lead guitar phrasing, helping them create expressive and memorable solos. Creativity is key, so I encourage students to explore their own compositions and develop personal expression through music.
I believe learning guitar is not just about notes, but about feeling and storytelling. Whether you dream of playing soulful blues or rocking energetic solos, I provide tailored lessons to push you forward. I work closely with students who want to deepen their understanding of blues techniques and those aiming to shine in rock styles. My goal is to help you excel by combining solid skills with your passion.
Lessons are practical and fun, mixing exercises with real songs you love. I encourage regular practice but keep sessions enjoyable to keep motivation high.
