About Yara
I am a passionate Biology tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Life Sciences. I enjoy helping students understand the complexity of living organisms in a simple and meaningful way. My teaching style is friendly, interactive, and supportive, ensuring students feel confident while learning even the most difficult topics.
Over the years, I have guided many students to improve their academic performance by focusing on conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. I identify individual learning gaps and provide personalised teaching strategies to help students succeed. I believe Biology becomes easy when students can visualise and connect concepts to real-life examples.

My biology lessons are structured to make life sciences simple, visual, and easy to understand. I focus on core areas such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Ecology, and Evolution. Each concept is explained step by step so students can clearly understand how living organisms function, instead of relying only on memorisation.
I use diagrams, flowcharts, and real-world examples to simplify complex topics like DNA replication, mitosis, meiosis, and human body systems. Topics are broken into small learning units to improve understanding and retention. Regular revision sessions, quizzes, and practice questions help students strengthen their memory and perform confidently in exams.
I also provide exam-oriented guidance including answer structuring, diagram practice, and important question prediction techniques. Students learn how to write clear, well-labelled answers and manage time effectively in exams. My aim is to build strong conceptual understanding while developing curiosity and interest in how living systems work in nature.
