About Marcus

You need a mentor who understands the precise AAMC exam logic that trips up most candidates during testing. I hold a Doctor of Medicine from UCSF and draw on 6 years of experience to clarify complex topics.
My technical expertise covers amines, carbonyl chemistry, functional groups, stereochemistry, and IUPAC nomenclature. I also guide students through curved-arrow notation, IR and mass spectrometry, isomerism, mechanism drawing, and retrosynthesis. Seeing a student finally grasp a difficult reaction pathway is honestly the most satisfying part of my workday.
