About Victoria
I have been a primary school teacher for over two decades and in that time have worked with hundreds of children learning to read and write.
I have also worked for 6 years as a SENDCO with extra qualifications in identifying and supporting students with additional needs.
I have a love of reading myself and love to ignite it in the children that I work with. Reading is the window to the world - if you can read you can do or learn anything!

Reading is a skill for life and when you’re struggling it can really have a wider impact on your learning and general well-being. I’m here to help any child succeed with learning to read, having completed training and taught lessons with the most widely accepted phonics scheme in England, and also with other routes to support those that find phonics more difficult.
Of course, the act of reading is only one part of literacy - comprehension, spelling and writing are also all key components with which I can support.
I have worked with many dyslexic students and others that find literacy tricky as well as those that just need a boost and learn some exam technique for SATs.
