About Marilyn
"Why does mathematics feel like an impenetrable language to so many people? In my 5 years of experience, I have noticed that most people simply missed a step in their foundational algebra years ago. I have worked with 47 students, including many working professionals and hobbyists, to reconstruct their understanding from the ground up.
My goal is to move you beyond the fear of word problems and into the realm of confident problem solving. We look at competition math prep and mensuration as tools rather than obstacles to clear. You will see your grades and your self-assurance grow as we navigate these hurdles together.
I focus on specific strategies for SAT/ACT math prep that save time under pressure. Everything we do serves your ultimate goal of mastering these concepts for your career or studies."
