About Kathleen
Hi, my name is Kathleen! I am a 24 years old American Chinese living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I spend a lot of my time reading, writing and teaching English to kids around my neighbourhood. I find joy in seeing them become more comfortable with the English language, and excelling at school.
In my class, I encourage students to ask as many questions as they have until they’re fully confident in the language!

All classes will be held online (30 mins). We start with a free first lesson for us to break the ice and see what areas you need a boost in, like reading, writing, or pronunciation. Everyone learns differently, so I'll create a personalized plan for you to develop your English skills!
My lessons prioritize clear understanding. I ensure students grasp new concepts through engaging activities and a friendly classroom atmosphere.
I've gained extensive experience teaching English to children through teaching at the orphanage, around my neighbourhood as well as through volunteering programmes supporting children from Myanmar and Thailand. I currently take in students aged 4-12.
