I am a piano tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I have extensive experience teaching a variety of pianos, including Grand, Player, Digital, Upright, Classical, Electric Keyboard, and Acoustic Piano. My lessons focus on building strong technical skills while nurturing creativity and expression. I specialize in chord theory, ear training, improvisation, sight-reading, and performance techniques. I design my teaching to be student-centered, tailoring each lesson to the unique needs of school students, adult learners, and professional musicians. Over the years, I have guided students from Beginner to Advanced levels, and even those at the Professional and Expert stage. I believe every student learns differently, so I mix structured practice with interactive and creative exercises to make learning engaging and rewarding. I encourage exploration, experimentation, and developing a personal musical voice. My goal is to help students gain confidence, refine their technique, and enjoy the process of making music.
