I am a piano tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano. My teaching approach is built on developing critical thinking, strong musicality, and individualized learning for each student. I believe that every pianist’s journey is unique, so I design lessons that reflect both personal goals and long-term growth. I focus not only on technique but also on holistic development, which includes music theory, ear training, and history. For learners preparing for exams, I offer structured training for ABRSM, Rockschool, and A-Level music, covering performance, theory, and aural skills. Alongside this, I introduce students to music history, helping them connect more deeply with the pieces they play. For students who want to play popular styles, I provide step-by-step methods to master chords, rhythm, and improvisation. For those interested in jazz, I focus on harmony, phrasing, and freedom in performance. I also encourage composition and creativity, allowing students to experiment with their own ideas and develop a personal sound. My lessons are a balance of structure and flexibility, ensuring progress while keeping music enjoyable. I use practical exercises, listening, and repertoire to make learning complete and engaging.
