Since I usually teach adults and working professionals, I appreciate a focused approach to music. You might notice that I balance my classical vocal background with 13 years of teaching strings.
My path involved mastering performance at the Royal Academy of Music, where I learnt that technique is only half the battle. I help kids and advanced learners navigate everything from basic acoustic technique to complex improvisation and soloing.
We focus heavily on ear training, reading tabs, and reading sheet music to ensure a complete understanding of the instrument. I also cover songwriting, scales, modes, and lead guitar to keep things interesting.
Maintaining your gear is vital, so we always include time for tuning and maintenance. My method is straightforward, energetic, and built for results. I get the job done.
