About Rajkamal
Hello! I'm Rajkamal, and I've been playing guitar for over 8 years. Music has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I enjoy helping others discover the same passion for playing.
Over the years, I've played in bands, learned songs across a variety of genres, and developed a practical, song-based approach to learning the instrument. I understand the challenges beginners face because I've been through the same journey myself, and I focus on making lessons enjoyable, encouraging, and easy to follow.
Outside of music, I'm an IIT Kharagpur graduate with professional experience at Standard Chartered Bank. My academic and professional background has helped me develop strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, which I bring into every lesson. I believe that a good teacher not only knows the subject but also knows how to explain it in a way that makes sense to each individual student.
Whether you're picking up a guitar for the very first time or looking to improve your playing, I'll provide structured lessons, constructive feedback, and a supportive environment to help you achieve your goals. My aim is to help you build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and keep making steady progress with every lesson.

I've been playing guitar for over 8 years and have experience performing in bands, learning songs across multiple genres, and helping others begin their musical journey. I believe learning guitar should be enjoyable and motivating from the very first lesson.
My teaching approach focuses on getting students to play real music as early as possible while gradually building strong fundamentals. Rather than overwhelming beginners with music theory, I introduce techniques and theory only when they become useful in understanding or playing a song better.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up, review of previous material, learning a new technique or concept, applying it to a song or riff, and ending with a practice plan for the week. Depending on your interests, lessons can cover chords, strumming, fingerpicking, scales, improvisation, rhythm, lead guitar, ear training, music theory, and song analysis.
What sets me apart is that I tailor every lesson to the student's musical goals. Whether you want to play your favorite songs around a campfire, accompany yourself while singing, jam with friends, or develop into a confident lead guitarist, the lessons will be structured around what keeps you motivated.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as early intermediate players of all ages. If you've never picked up a guitar before, don't worry—we'll start from the basics. If you've been playing for a while but feel stuck, I'll help you identify what's holding you back and create a clear path for improvement.
Whether you're interested in rock, blues, acoustic, pop, or other contemporary styles, I'll help you become a more confident and expressive guitarist while making the learning process enjoyable.
