About Elouise
Spending 12 years teaching organic chemistry has refined my ability to simplify complex topics like functional groups, amines, and isomerism. Students frequently struggle with IUPAC nomenclature or carboxylic acids, but I simplify these hurdles through structural logic. My approach ensures that mechanism drawing and IR or mass spectrometry become intuitive processes rather than memorization traps.
Mastery of aromatic chemistry, NMR spectroscopy, and retrosynthesis is well within reach when you stop memorizing and start analyzing. I find it incredibly fulfilling when students overcome a challenging concept within a single hour.

clear understanding is the foundation of success in my classroom. Diagnostic test data determines our path forward before we set the actual study plan.
Because I hold an MS Chemistry degree, I navigate the nuances of these exams with high precision. My 5 years of experience ensure that we spend time on the specific mechanisms that frequently show up on your tests. You deserve a clear map of your own strengths and weaknesses. What specific reaction mechanism is currently giving you the most trouble during your study sessions?
