About Henry
I provide free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes so you have a solid reference for your private study. My lessons begin by assessing your current comfort level with role play and dialogue practice. We spend time on accent and intonation to ensure you sound authentic.
Writing skills and listening practice form the core of our weekly routine. I bring my background as a musician to help you hear the rhythmic patterns of the language. Sometimes we just talk. This helps you gain confidence.
My training ensures that you move beyond simple memorization to true fluency. I am here to help you succeed.

I teach because the scent of freshly brewed coffee reminds me of my grandmother humming a slow bolero while she worked. Language is a cultural-musical package that spans continents and history for me. My upbringing in the traditions of flamenco and chacarera informs how I explain the nuances of Spanish. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from AIM which forces me to be analytical about how I transmit knowledge.
My students range from absolute beginners moving to a new country to intermediate speakers polishing their accents. I focus on the cultural context behind every idiom and expression so you understand the logic. Whether we discuss the difference between Latin American and Castilian variants or prepare for the DELE exam, the goal is always clear communication.
I enjoy watching the moment when a new phrase feels natural to a student. Teaching allows me to share the heritage that defined my own path.
