About Alphonso
Do you ever wonder why your voice feels tired after just a few minutes of singing? I started teaching because I love helping others find a healthy way to project their true sound.
With 3 years of experience and a BS Music Industry degree from USC Thornton School of Music, I guide my 230 students through technical hurdles with ease. SINGING is a physical skill that requires more than just listening to the radio.
We cover genre styling for pop and classical or musical theater settings. My focus includes diction and articulation to keep your delivery crisp.
I work on pitch control and tone and resonance to help you find your unique signature. Developing performance confidence is essential for anyone stepping onto a stage. You will find that regular practice of these techniques makes a massive difference in your range.
I keep the process grounded and kind as we work through your repertoire. I aim to keep your training simple and effective.

My first session usually feels like a nervous blur for most singers who have never had formal training. I admit that getting comfortable with your own voice takes time and specific attention to resonance. We spend our time on vocal range extension and the nuances of belting technique. You will receive recorded warm-up routines for your daily home practice between meetings.
I use my 3 years of experience to address your exam preparation needs during our scheduled time. My approach ensures you feel capable and prepared for your next performance.
