About Laura
Do you feel that your current design project lacks a clear narrative thread? My lessons reflect the same structured discipline used during my 13 years of experience in computational design. We examine how concept development serves as the foundation for every technical drawing and sustainable design choice. You will learn to utilise 3D modelling tools to test your ideas before finalising the site analysis.
A Master of Architecture qualification means I can guide you through the nuance of architectural history and complex rendering. We move through each phase of the project with intentionality. It starts with the initial sketch.

I admit that I often obsess over the minutiae of line weights and structural clarity. My journey began at Cambridge and continued through a Master of Architecture at the Bartlett before spending 13 years in a major London practice.
I teach hobbyists and portfolio applicants how to balance technical drafting with conceptual depth. Having mentored 148 students, I prioritise the development of a sharp design critique alongside mastery in rendering and 3D modelling. I provide a diagnostic portfolio assessment first to see where your spatial planning and site analysis currently stand.
Your work should reflect your unique voice while respecting historical and sustainable context. I look forward to supporting your creative growth as a fellow designer.
