About Edward
Technique often matters less than the ability to listen closely to your own sound. I hold a Master of Music in Voice from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, yet my 6 years of teaching guitar involve the same commitment to precision and musical clarity.
My lessons cover reading tabs, acoustic technique, tuning and maintenance, songwriting, music theory, scales and modes, grade exam prep, and lead guitar. It takes a kind ear to help students navigate the bridge between theoretical knowledge and actual playing. I find great joy in supporting students through the unique challenges of learning an instrument at any stage of their journey.

Admitting that music theory can be confusing at first is the best way to start our work together. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practise soloing at home with confidence. Drawing on my background as a Guildhall School of Music and Drama graduate, I keep the pace steady and focused on long-term growth.
My 8 years of experience in musical training allow me to break down complex ideas into manageable pieces for my 263 students. I look forward to hearing your progress as we build your skills towards your musical goals.
