Struggling to move between complex chords often stops progress before the music even begins. Picture yourself flowing through a scale without needing to glance down at your fingers in panic. I use my 13 years of experience to strip away the frustration that comes with bad habits. A monthly recorded review of progress helps you see how far you have traveled since we started.
I make sure the theory stays practical and tied to the songs you actually enjoy playing. You will find that regular practice becomes the most anticipated part of your week. It is genuinely fun to watch those difficult transitions finally become second nature.

Music found me early, and that path led me to complete a BM in Vocal Performance and TEFL at UBC. My teaching style remains conversationally grounded as I work with self-taught players, absolute beginners, and working professionals.
We focus on power chords, music theory, ear training, grade exam prep, and reading sheet music. I also emphasize improvisation, soloing, chord transitions, and scales and modes. My 13 years of experience help me meet you right where you are.
I handle the structure so you can focus on the strings. You have the ability to play exactly what you hear in your head.
