About Carl
"The smell of stale beer and old guitar cases defined my 12 years gigging through the Sydney and Melbourne indie scenes. Those nights shaped how I view music, well beyond what a textbook could provide.
I spent 13 years running my own Canberra studio, helping countless people find their rhythm. Having taught 1000s of students, I know exactly where beginners stall and where intermediates hit walls. Learning is a process of understanding why songs work, not just memorizing finger placements.
I focus on building real technique so your hands can execute what your ears hear. My own journey as a self-taught player means I skip the fluff and get straight to the mechanics of playing well. It feels like home when I am behind a guitar, and I hope to share that comfort with you."
