About Dollie
You deserve instruction that emphasizes refined posture and proper hold alongside technical mastery of complex double stops. I focus on developing strong fundamentals so that every movement feels controlled, natural, and musically expressive.
My teaching experience spans students from 4-year-old beginners to advanced high school musicians preparing for college auditions. Alongside teaching, I maintain my role with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, bringing professional performance experience into every lesson.
With 11 years of experience guiding musicians through ABRSM and Trinity grade exams, I place strong emphasis on sight-reading, rhythm, and classical repertoire. Music theory remains an essential part of our work, providing the foundation for a precise, confident, and graceful approach to the violin.
