About Masaoki

Hi! I'm Masaoki — a professional Japanese tutor. I have 10 years of experience as a Japanese teacher and hold a professional teaching qualification.

I’ve taught many students of different ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

Teaching is not just my job — it’s something I truly care about. I really enjoy teaching and sharing Japanese language and culture with people from all over the world. About the lesson

Learners of all levels are welcome! The lessons will be tailored to your level and learning objectives.

◆ Beginner lessons

If you’re just starting to learn Japanese, don’t worry — I’ll explain everything clearly in English when needed, so you can feel comfortable and confident from the start.

We’ll begin with the basics, such as hiragana, katakana, basic grammar, greetings, and essential expressions for everyday life.

◆ Conversation lessons

Would you like to speak Japanese more naturally and confidently? We can talk about a wide range of topics — from daily life, travel, and hobbies to Japanese culture and current events.

I’ll gently correct your mistakes, teach you more natural expressions, and help you expand your vocabulary and fluency.

◆ Intensive lessons

Would you like to study more frequently or focus deeply on specific areas such as JLPT preparation, grammar, or writing?

I’ll create a structured study plan tailored to your goals and schedule, and guide you step by step toward real progress.

Perfect! Masaoki-san has been great so far. I've have gone from absolutely nothing, to being able to saying where i've worked this week, what time I started & finished, and then what i've had for lunch! All in about 2 months. I struggle with finding time to revise but Masaoki-san knows exactly where to pick up from and makes it very easy to keep building.
