About Gian
Growing up in Ireland, I've always been fascinated with languages.
Whether it's learning Irish, trying to speak some French, or listening to songs in Spanish - I was always curious about what words meant and why we say the things we say.
I always said, 'If I had to choose a superpower, I'd love to know all the languages of the world.'
And somehow, that became true.
I started as an English Language Assistant in a lycée and college in Paris, France where I got a taste of teaching (while learning French).
After graduating, I decided to explore the idea of teaching where I did my CELTA and taught in my first language school called 'Castleforbes College' where I taught for 4+ years, teaching students from all over the world, from Latin America to Europe to Asia.
Now, I'm in my 5th year of teaching English in 'Apollo Language Centre' where I get to work with a great team of teachers and students, helping students understand language acquisition in a more engaging, educating, and natural way.
