About Lisa
If teaching and comedy came together, that'd be me. I love developing quality student relationships, inspiring reluctant learners, and most of all...seeing the lightbulb go off when a student feels successful with the material on their own. There is nothing better than knocking down learning barriers together! I also make it lighthearted and kind, with plenty of jokes and silliness appropriate for the age. I can't wait to meet you!

My lessons would be targeted towards the individual' needs an elementary student might have. My teaching methods involve front loading key information, direct instruction, modeling, a "we do-you do" approach as I release some of the scaffolding and then move into the position where the student is able to master the subject independently.
Having me as a tutor is getting a Masters level teacher of 28 years. I have tutored, taught summer school, taught K-4th, raised two kids through school and onto college, and had more professional development around meeting ALL needs and supports, that you can be comfortable knowing you have the best!
