About Steve
I am a CEO / Principal Android / Kotlin / Owner / Guru at the Buryware Company, a software development firm that specializes in mobile and satellite and commerce applications. I have over 43 years of experience in the software industry, working on projects ranging from missile systems to online encyclopedias. I have multiple software copyrights (6) and awards, including two Bush presidential merit awards for my contribution to the rescue efforts during Hurricane Katrina and Japan Tsunamis.
My passion is to create innovative and impactful software solutions that leverage the latest technologies and best practices. I have extensive knowledge and skills in Android, Kotlin, Firebase, Android Jetpack, Espresso, and Agile development. I have published 100s of Android apps in the Google Play store, including SpeakNSpell, a learning tool that uses Kotlin and voice recognition. I am also a pioneer in the satellite software domain, having worked on spy satellites for Orbimage and Digital Globe. I enjoy collaborating with other developers and sharing my expertise and insights.
