About Arlene
I’m a Filipino-American retired teacher from California. I taught in the classroom for 26 years. The grades I taught in were K, 1, 2, and 4, but I have experience working with all grades. I loved teaching all the subjects. My top favorites were Reading, Writing, and Math.
I have worked with all types of learners from different countries who speak other languages. I enjoy meeting and getting to know students from all backgrounds. I speak English, some Spanish, French, and Tagalog and am learning Thai.
In my spare time, I like to relax, write, dance, workout, listen to music, watch movies and travel.

We can practice reading, writing, listening and speaking English in a variety of ways: flash cards, singing, games, movement, role-play, and more.
