About Samuel
I have taught in and around Austin, Texas for over 13 years, after beginning my teaching career at a small county school in Northern Mississippi. I have taught Bio, Bio II, AP Bio, Botany, Zoology, as well as Chem 1 and 2. I feel like the biological world around us, and within us, is ever so fascinating, and I absolutely LOVE sharing it with anyone who is interested.

I love to show examples, have a trove of videos, and love to work through biological topics using lectures, activities, and videos. I take a lighthearted and hilarious approach to explaining the natural world, because I believe it is not only majestic and beautiful, but amazingly funny. I hope to open my students' minds to topics they have not seen or heard of before, and relate them to our everyday lives.
