About Inha

I'm In-Ha, I have recently graduated from university and am starting a degree in medicine this September. I have always had a passion for teaching, although our teachers at school are brilliant sometimes we all need some extra help to excel, learning at school tends not to be a tailored experience. So that's why I'm here to give you a more tailored experience to learning.

Ever since I was young, I have had a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education. I believe that knowledge has the potential to shape lives, open doors, and empower individuals to reach their fullest potential. Witnessing the positive impact that teachers had on my own educational journey, I understand the power of good teachers.

Teaching is a profound way to make a difference in the lives of others. It allows me to impart knowledge, skills, and a love for learning that can have a lasting impact. The joy of seeing a student's face light up when they grasp a difficult concept or achieve their goals is truly priceless.

I am thrilled to outline my personal approach to tutoring, including my techniques, teaching methodology, qualifications, and the target audience for my lessons.

My teaching methodology revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that caters to your individual needs. Here are some key aspects of my approach:

Active Learning: I believe in fostering active participation in the learning process. Rather than passively absorbing information, you will be encouraged to engage in discussions, problem-solving activities, and hands-on exercises. This approach promotes critical thinking, deep understanding, and the application of knowledge in practical contexts.

Customized Lesson Plans: I understand that every student is unique, with varying strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. To accommodate this, I will create customized lesson plans tailored to your specific requirements. By identifying your areas of improvement and building on your strengths, we will work together to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

By incorporating visual aids, audio resources, and a lot of real-life examples, I aim to create a stimulating and comprehensive learning environment. The typical length of a lesson will depend on the complexity of the subject matter and your individual needs. Generally, I find that sessions ranging from 60 to 90 minutes strike a balance between covering the necessary material and allowing for active engagement without overwhelming you.

As for my qualifications and experience as a tutor, I have a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences and have completed my GCSE's and A-Levels to a high standard. I have 3 years of tutoring experience across a range of subjects and key stage levels. This has provided me with a deep understanding of different curricula, teaching strategies, and student learning needs. I stay updated with the latest educational research and practices to continually refine my teaching methods and provide you with the best possible support.

My lessons are designed for year 4 up to year 11 students from the ages of 9 to 16. Whether you are a doing an 11+ student seeking assistance in maths, or a GCSE student preparing for your GCSE's I am equipped to guide and support you on your academic journey.

I am genuinely excited to bring my expertise and passion for teaching to our sessions. Together, we will explore, learn, and grow, setting you up for success in your educational pursuits.
