About Yuxin
Hi! I’m a Year 12 student at Westlake Girls High School with a massive passion for science. Ever since I started high school, science has been my favorite subject because it explains exactly how the world around us works—from the tiniest cells to the forces shaping our universe.
I know concepts (like genetics, chemical reactions, or mechanics) can feel a bit overwhelming at first. My goal is to take the stress out of science and help younger students find the fun in it.
Outside of my own academic studies, I love helping others succeed. I do tutoring at my school for the Swart swan program. I am patient, enthusiastic, and highly adaptable to different learning styles. I know that not everyone learns science the same way, so I focus on using visual diagrams, real-world examples, and step-by-step breakdowns until everything clicks.
Whether your child needs help keeping up with classwork, wants to boost their grades before a big test, or just wants to get a head start on high school science, I am here to provide encouraging, relatable, and effective support!

Hi! I’m a Year 12 student at Westlake Girls High School, and I absolutely love science. Because I am currently immersed in high school sciences, I know exactly how the curriculum is structured and how to break down big, intimidating scientific concepts into ideas that are easy to understand and fun to learn.
Science isn't just about memorizing facts; it's about understanding how the world works. My goal is to help younger students build a strong foundational knowledge, prepare for assessments, and spark a genuine curiosity for the subject.
-Whether it's balancing chemical equations, understanding forces in physics, or learning about cells in biology, I break topics down step-by-step using clear explanations and visual aids.
-Science is best learned when it's engaging! We will use diagrams, real-world examples, and practice problems to make sure the concepts actually stick.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-I do not have PayPal so you would have to do bank transfer
-In-person lessons at a local library or home visits (depending on location).
