About Cayleigh
Hi, I'm Cayleigh, a current Year 13 student with a passion for mathematics and science and a strong academic background in both subjects. I have completed Mathematics and Science Extension classes and achieved NCEA Level 1 and Level 2 with Merit Endorsement. Alongside my studies, I have held leadership roles at school, which have strengthened my communication and mentoring skills. I enjoy helping younger students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals in a supportive, encouraging environment.

My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence and developing a strong understanding of key concepts rather than simply memorising answers. I adapt each lesson to suit the student's individual learning style, pace, and goals, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I offer in-home lessons, allowing students to learn in a familiar and comfortable environment. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student's age and needs. Sessions may include reviewing schoolwork, completing homework, preparing for tests, practising problem-solving skills, or extending learning beyond the classroom. As a current Year 13 student who has completed Mathematics and Science Extension classes and achieved NCEA Level 1 and Level 2 with Merit Endorsement, I have a strong understanding of these subjects and enjoy helping younger students succeed. My lessons are designed for primary and intermediate school students, with tutoring available in Mathematics and Science up to Year 8 level.
